Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Repair and replace faulty parts and components
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
- Collaborate with other mechanics and team members to complete projects efficiently
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance techniques
- Familiarity with diesel engines, including Caterpillar models
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repairs and assembly
- Experience working with farm machinery is a plus
- Knowledge of tire service and repair is preferred
