Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Repair and replace faulty parts and components
  • Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
  • Collaborate with other mechanics and team members to complete projects efficiently
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance techniques
  • Familiarity with diesel engines, including Caterpillar models
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repairs and assembly
  • Experience working with farm machinery is a plus
  • Knowledge of tire service and repair is preferred
