In this role will make an impact in the following ways: Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools Assist in cleaning, inspecting, disassembling, and other basic workshop activities. Learn Standard Repair Times (SRTs) and follow documented procedures and policies to complete basic repairs and maintenance. Complete required documentation, such as work completed forms and time sheets, either by hand or through business system input screens. Complete training in-line to job skill and business requirements. Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of the work area and tools. Project a positive company image by interacting cooperatively, supportively, and courteously with fellow employees, customers, and management, displaying a professional attitude. Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies, procedures, and legislation, and report any issues or incidents to the supervisor. To be successful in this role you will need the following: Primarily engaged in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality Demonstrates an understanding on access to engine repair process information sources. Understands after-treatment system and can identify major components and their function at a rudimentary level. Has worked on external components on a diesel engine and understands the basic concepts. Has some knowledge of engine diagnostic software Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
