About the Role We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Maintenance Team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of diesel-powered commercial trucks to ensure they operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. Our fleet includes (but is not limited to): 2019 and newer Isuzu NPR, NRR, and FTR trucks Freightliner M2 trucks with Cummins and Detroit diesel engines Freightliner Cascadia tractors Western Star tractors Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains, steering, suspension, brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services on commercial vehicles. Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Troubleshoot engine performance, emissions, electrical, and fuel system issues. Complete repair orders accurately and maintain maintenance records. Perform road tests and inspections to verify repairs. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to minimize fleet downtime. Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of diesel mechanic experience. Experience working on medium- and heavy-duty commercial trucks. Experience servicing one or more of the following is strongly preferred: Isuzu NPR, NRR, and FTR Freightliner M2 Freightliner Cascadia Western Star Cummins engines Detroit Diesel engines Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Experience performing preventative maintenance and DOT inspections. ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Certification is preferred. CDL is a plus but not required. Valid driver's license required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work overtime and weekends as business needs require.
