Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team in Lindenhurst. This position plays a critical role in keeping our fleet and production-support equipment operating safely and efficiently. $72,800 - $93,600 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 6 AM - 6

High SchoolResponsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on diesel trucks, trailers, forklifts, and heavy equipment. Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, brakes, steering, and electrical systems. Conduct inspections and identify mechanical issues before they become major failures. Troubleshoot engine performance and electronic diagnostic systems. Maintain accurate service and repair records. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards. Coordinate with operations and maintenance personnel to minimize equipment downtime. Order and manage parts inventory as needed. Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns when necessary.
