Diesel Mechanic

Diesel Mechanic - Full-Time We are looking for an experienced and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our team. Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00

PM Employment Type:

Full-Time Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain engines, transmissions, HVAC, electrical, suspension, steering, and brake systems Remove, inspect, repair, and replace components, including engines and transmissions Perform diesel engine adjustments (valves, timing, injector Replacement) Rebuild engines (experience preferred) Repair brake systems, including air brakes, and service wheel bearings Conduct routine maintenance: oil changes, filters, tires, and worn parts Fabricate parts when needed and use hand/power tools and welding equipment Determine equipment readiness for service Complete accurate repair reports Experience & Qualifications Minimum 5 years of diesel engine repair and maintenance experience Class A or Class B CDL (required) Clean driving record — MVR will be run Strong proficiency in tire service and industrial equipment repair Ability to fabricate parts when necessary Knowledge of hydraulic systems and automotive repair techniques Experience with forklifts, Caterpillar equipment, and similar machinery Ability to work independently and maintain a clean, organized workspace Minimum personal tool set required NYS Inspector License is a plus (training available) Must pass pre-employment background checks Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and movement throughout the workday Regular use of hands for handling tools and equipment Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs regularly and 100+ lbs with assistance Benefits Weekly pay 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability insurance 6 paid holidays + paid time off Employee discounts Stable Monday-Friday schedule with overtime available
