Job Description

Job Qualifications:
At least 1 Years Experience in the job field NYS Inspector's Certificate Preferred High School Diploma or GED equivalent Preferred Vocational/Technical Training in Automotive field preferred Commercial Driver's License A Preferred ASE Certification Preferred Must have basic mechanic's tool set
Job Duties:
Perform vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy duty trucks Ability to work independently with minimal direction Maintain a clean and safe work environment by cleaning bay after all repairs and properly disposing of waste materials Test drive vehicle operation following repair to ensure all maintenance and repair work is performed accurately Routine maintenance to include general service (oil changes, etc) General knowledge of electrical, air brakes, chassis, cooling and all other systems related to heavy duty trucking All trucks are pre-emissions
