Gas and Diesel Maintenance Technician (Mulitple Service Stations)

We are looking to hire an experienced Lead Gas Pump and Maintance Specialist. This position requires a candidate to take initiative, and pay attention to detail. You will be responsible for the maintenance of service station equipment; including inspecting gas pumps, ensuring they are in working order, troubleshooting, and all other hands-on maintenance and repair work. Pay is negotiable based on experience and managerial skills.

Gas Tech and Maintenance Responsibilities:

 Install, program and maintain gasoline service station equipment  Plans, carries out and evaluates preventative maintenance schedules for all designated mechanical equipment, either personally, or through outside vendors.  Inspect, diagnose and perform major and minor repair work on pumps, equipment, controls, valves and related equipment. Handle routine and preventative maintenance on pumps.  Initiates and purchases equipment, parts, and supplies used for mechanical system maintenance in compliance with departmental and State/City procedures.  Provides emergency field assistance to disabled equipment as needed and appropriate. Leak detection maintenance and alarms.  Maintains records, prepares reports and other specialized maintenance records of equipment and mechanical equipment.  Knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations pertaining to the decommissioning and removal of underground fuel storage tanks.

Maintenance :

Maintain and Repair buildings, grounds, and equipment, and to troubleshoot, solve mechanical, electrical, and other problems.

Education/Experience/Skills:

 High School diploma or GED required.  This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience.  Driver license and vehicle required.  High mechanical aptitude and field experience.  Must have interpersonal skills  Must be well organized.  Must have problem-solving abilities.  Must be capable of climbing ladders to install and retrieve equipment.  Job requires frequent kneeling, bending, handling, reaching and standing.  Requires local travel to surrounding our different locations (within a 3 mile radius) •Pay rate is negotiable upon experience•Waiting period may apply for company benefits.
