Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel trucks. Your expertise will ensure our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, suspension, and HVAC systems. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on trucks to maximize operational uptime and ensuring optimal performance. Repair or replace components such as shocks & struts, wheel alignments, power tools, electrical systems, and other mechanical assemblies using hand tools and power tools. Assist with heavy lifting and equipment assembly during repairs or installations while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain detailed service records for all repairs performed. Collaborate with team members troubleshoot complex problems and implement solutions. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with a focus on diesel engines and heavy equipment repair; three (3) years or more experience. Strong mechanical knowledge of transmissions, brakes (including air brake systems), hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC units, and electrical components. Experience with automotive repair including tire service, wheel alignment, shocks & struts replacement, and general vehicle maintenance. Capable of performing heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Valid certifications related to diesel engine repair or heavy machinery operation are a plus; valid driver's license is a must. Pay:
$22.00 - $37.00 per hour
