Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Diagnoses failures and makes repairs on mechanical, electrical, or other various systems on diesel trucks and trailers. Uses electronic diagnostic tools and computer software to diagnose and repair tractors and trailers, engines, ABS, TPMS, ELDs, GPS tracking, etc. Completing parts inventory and requesting parts as needed. Maintaining communication with office personnel. Training is available for systems you're not familiar with. Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of diesel mechanic experience is required
• Basic computer skills are required, and knowledge of maintenance programs and diagnostic systems is a plus
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required
• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations is a plus, but training can be provided Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear, as well as read materials associated with the position in the English language.
