Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment, including trucks, construction machinery, and industrial vehicles. Your expertise will ensure our fleet operates safely and efficiently, supporting our operational goals with precision and reliability. Duties Perform thorough diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems using schematics and automotive diagnostics tools. Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment such as , farm machinery, and tractor-trailers to ensure optimal performance. Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding, soldering, hand tools, and power tools to meet specific repair requirements. Replace or repair shocks & struts, air brakes, tires, HVAC systems, and other critical components to uphold safety standards. Assemble and disassemble equipment parts with precision while adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety protocols. Maintain detailed service records of repairs performed and parts used; perform routine inspections to identify potential issues proactively. Assist with heavy lifting tasks and perform welding or fabrication work for custom repairs or modifications as required. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic background with heavy equipment operation. Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and electrical diagnostics. Skilled in using schematics for troubleshooting complex systems; proficient with automotive diagnostics tools. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively; experience with welding, soldering, and fabrication techniques. Familiarity with industrial truck and trailer diagnostic and repair , and farm machinery; experience in service technician roles preferred. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Capable of performing heavy lifting safely; physically fit for demanding maintenance tasks in various environments. Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values your expertise! Pay:
$29.16 - $35.11 per hour
