We specialize in servicing diesel trucks, box trucks, semis, trailers, and commercial fleet equipment. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, diagnostics, and keeping customers on the road safely and efficiently. At Mueller Roofing, we provide a fast-paced shop environment with opportunities for growth, hands-on experience, and advancement. We are looking for dependable technician who is ready to work, learn, and be part of a strong team. Qualifications and Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, suspension, steering, HVAC, hydraulics, and air brake systems Perform PM services, inspections, diagnostics, and major mechanical repairs Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment and OEM schematics Repair and replace components including brakes, wheel seals, tires, suspension parts, turbochargers, cooling systems, and drivetrain components Perform welding and fabrication work when necessary Complete DOT inspections and safety-related repairs Operate shop equipment and maintain a clean, safe work environment Communicate repair findings clearly with management and customers Assist with roadside service calls when needed Experience working on diesel trucks, trailers, heavy-duty equipment, or commercial vehicles Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems, suspension, electrical systems, and PM procedures Ability to use diagnostic software, hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment Welding and fabrication experience is a plus Valid driver's license preferred CDL is a plus but not required Ability to lift heavy parts and work in a shop environment Benefits of Joining our Team Competitive Wages Paid Time Off Company Paid Holidays Health Insurance Prescription Drug Coverage Flexible Spending Accounts- Medical and Dependent Care Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Company Paid Life Insurance Optional Group Life and Disability 401(K) with a Generous Company Match Career Training Mueller Roofing Distributors is an equal opportunity employer/drug-free workplace and we welcome and encourage diversity.
