Job Description

About Us We are a growing motor coach transportation company operating a modern fleet of motor coaches. We are seeking an experienced and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team and help keep our fleet operating safely, reliably, and efficiently. Position Summary The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on motor coaches and diesel-powered vehicles. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is committed to safety. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service on motor coaches Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, HVAC systems, air brakes, suspension systems, and driveline components Conduct DOT inspections and safety checks Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately Maintain a clean and safe work environment Work collaboratively with drivers, dispatchers, and management to minimize vehicle downtime Qualifications Experience as a diesel mechanic, heavy-duty truck mechanic, or motor coach technician Strong knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle systems Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, air brake, and suspension systems ASE certifications are a plus Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment What We Offer Competitive pay Overtime opportunities Paid vacation and holidays Uniform program Stable, year-round employment Modern fleet and well-equipped shop Supportive team environment Schedule Full-time Day shift with occasional evenings or weekends as needed If you are a skilled diesel mechanic looking for a stable career with a professional motor coach company, we encourage you to apply today.
