Assistant Diesel Mechanic

Mortons Landscape Development Company is seeking a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join our team in our Brand New State-Of-The-Art Mechanic Shop . This full-time position is responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles to ensure safe and efficient daily operations. Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair company vehicles Maintain a fleet including Class A, B, C, and automotive vehicles, as well as Construction Equipment as needed. Perform routine maintenance and preventative repairs Ensure all vehicles meet safety and operational standards Keep accurate maintenance and repair records Work closely with operations to minimize downtime Requirements Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Auto Technician, or Trailer Technician Must own personal tools Valid Driver's License with fewer than 3 points Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and on-site full-time Ability to work well with others Preferred Qualifications CDL Operator's License (nice to have)

Pay:

$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
