Job Description
Diesel Mechanic T Dagg's Asphalt & Sealcoating is seeking a dependable and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team. We are looking for a hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining equipment and keeping our fleet operating safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks, trailers, and asphalt/sealcoating equipment. Perform routine preventive maintenance, including oil changes, inspections, and fluid checks. Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Repair and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and other components as needed. Maintain accurate service and repair records. Ensure equipment meets safety and operational standards. Respond to breakdowns and emergency repairs when necessary. Qualifications Previous experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment mechanic preferred. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical diagnostics. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus.
