Diesel Mechanic Service Technician

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician with experience diagnosing , repairing, and maintaining tractor-trailers.

Responsibilities :

Perform all work in compliance with all safety measures and policies including OSHA, company, federal, local, state, and DOT Performing preventative maintenance and light to moderate diesel repairs Preventative maintenance experience DOT inspections Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance Advises Maintenance Manager of unsafe maintenance conditions or practices and/or vehicle abuse Have the ability to lift 50lbs Must own a toolbox and possess required tools Other duties assigned as needed What we'd like to see : Completion of a diesel technician program or equivalent experience Strong communication skills Ability to handle high stress situations Minimum 2 years experience Valid driver's license, CDL-A preferred but not required Positive attitude, safety conscious, good instincts, self-motivated
