Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Master Diesel Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel engines and equipment. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance and safety of industrial machinery, farm equipment, and commercial vehicles. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced technology and heavy machinery in a fast-paced environment, providing essential services that keep operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and electrical components using schematics and specialized tools. Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, trailers, and other industrial machinery. Fabricate parts and components as needed using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet repair specifications. Execute routine vehicle maintenance such as brake repair, wheel alignment, shocks & struts replacement, tire service, and air brake system inspections. Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues involving HVAC systems, powertrain components, hydraulics, and electrical systems to restore equipment functionality efficiently. Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed for compliance and quality assurance purposes. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring timely completion of all service tasks. Requirements Proven dealership or heavy equipment experience with a strong mechanical background in diesel engine repair. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, and electrical troubleshooting. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques for equipment repair. Familiarity with key systems such as transmissions, hydraulics, suspension components, HVAC units, brakes (including air brake systems), shocks & struts. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy workshop environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members. Pay:
$29.00 - $40.00 per hour
