Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and a passion for maintaining and enhancing the performance of heavy machinery. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. Duties Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues. Perform routine maintenance on various types of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. Fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal functionality of machinery. Work with schematics to understand complex systems and components. Repair and maintain farm machinery, ensuring they meet safety standards. Utilize welding skills for repairs and modifications as necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects in a dealership environment. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. Experience Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role within automotive repair or dealership settings. Familiarity with Caterpillar engines is highly desirable. Strong understanding of all aspects related to diesel machinery is a plus. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively. Proficient in welding techniques for metal fabrication and repair.
