Job Description
We are a busy, well established trucking company based in southeast Oklahoma that specializes in hauling aggregate with end dump and belly dump trailers. We are looking for a dependable, skilled diesel mechanic who takes pride in quality work and can thrive in a fast paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, drivetrains, suspensions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Perform repairs on end-dump trailers, including hydraulics and structural components
- Conduct routine maintenance and DOT- compliant inspections
- Use diagnostic tools and follow proper repair procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors
REQUIREMENTS
- Reliable transportation to and from the shop
- 3 years of diesel mechanic experience (or equivalent skill level)
- Strong knowledge of semi truck systems and trailer repair
- Ability to diagnose issues independently
- Own basic tools ( specialty tools provided )
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a shop environment
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to show up on time
- CDL is a plus but not required
