1pm - 9:30pm Schedule! Clarke Vehicare has an immediate opening. We are hiring a Fleet Diesel Technician for our evening shift. Are you looking for a great new opportunity? We would like to talk with you! What are the Duties?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Use of smartphone, laptop and tablet technology to record all repairs Repairs and maintains customer vehicles and mechanical equipment May include Road Service and In-Shop Work Heavy Duty Truck Repair May include Engine Diagnostics Experience with Paccar, Cummins, & CAT Perform all types of engine, brake, drive train, electrical, and A/C repairs Test drive vehicles under 26,000 GVW Assist other technicians when needed Must be able to work independently PHYSICAL and
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance. The associate must be able to read and write reports. Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions. ? EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Previous Air brake experience is required. 5 years Truck Repair Experience preferred. Completion of Diesel Program Preferred CDL is preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card ASE Certification in PMI & Brakes a plus Valid driver's license. Why should you apply? Clarke
