Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with diesel engines.
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel vehicles.
- Repair or replace faulty parts, such as brakes, transmissions, and fuel systems.
- Perform tire services, including rotation, balancing, and replacement.
- Use welding and soldering techniques to repair or fabricate parts as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, systems, and components.
- Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to the job.
- Skilled in using welding and soldering techniques for repairs or fabrication.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
