Job Description

Join Our Team as a Road Service Diesel Technician! Are you an experienced diesel technician who enjoys working independently and solving problems on the road? We're looking for a dependable Road Service Diesel Technician to provide on-site repairs and emergency roadside assistance for commercial trucks and diesel-powered equipment. If you take pride in delivering exceptional service and getting customers back on the road quickly and safely, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Respond to roadside service calls for commercial trucks, trailers, and diesel-powered equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, air, hydraulic, fuel, and cooling system issues in the field. Perform emergency roadside repairs, preventative maintenance, and minor component replacements. Use diagnostic software and equipment to accurately identify and resolve vehicle issues. Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, recommendations, and estimated completion times. Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately. Maintain a fully stocked, clean, and organized service vehicle. Follow all company safety policies and industry regulations while working in roadside environments. Participate in an on-call rotation as required. Qualifications 5+ years of diesel truck repair experience preferred Strong knowledge of medium- and heavy-duty truck systems, including engines, brakes, suspension, electrical, and air systems Experience with electronic diagnostic tools and repair software Ability to troubleshoot and make repairs independently in the field Excellent customer service and communication skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL is a plus ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Certifications are preferred but not required Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying weather and roadside conditions What We Offer Excellent hourly pay based on experience Work year round and overtime opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid vacation and holidays 401(k) with company match Parts department Clean shop with quality equipment latest technology Uniforms and laundry service Why Join Us? $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
