Company Overview Fizzano Brothers Concrete Products, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business with a rich history dating back to 1935. With three manufacturing facilities serving the Mid-Atlantic region, we produce a wide range of high-quality, commercial-grade concrete products, along with masonry and hardscaping materials. Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Small Fleet/Diesel Mechanic to join our team and keep our fleet of trucks and heavy equipment operating at peak performance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse machinery, including diesel engines and industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about vehicle maintenance and repair. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, suspension, and other heavy equipment components Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and brake repairs Fabricate and modify parts using welding, hand tools, power tools, and schematics to ensure optimal equipment performance Repair and service Class 8 Trucks, Forklifts & Wheel Loaders Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform soldering or wiring repairs as needed Assist with assembly and disassembly of equipment components for repair or replacement Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with safety standards Experience Proven mechanic experience with heavy equipment operation and automotive diagnostics Background working with Caterpillar, Case, Hyster, Kenworth or similar brands is highly desirable Knowledge of schematics for electrical and hydraulic systems Hands-on experience with fabrication, welding, tire service, and mechanical repairs Familiarity with HVAC systems on industrial machinery is a plus Ability to lift heavy components safely and operate power tools efficiently Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients Join us to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining our fleet's reliability! Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour
