That is why we offer great compensation, awesome benefits, and a work environment worth bragging about! Job DescriptionDeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Diesel Mechanic with a strong work ethic and solid diagnostic experience. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel trucks and heavy equipment under the direction of the Shop Manager. The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, and takes pride in quality workmanship.
Shop Location:
Hazleton PA.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipmentPerform inspections and preventive maintenanceRepair or replace major components including engines, drivetrains, hydraulics, electrical, fuel, brake, and suspension systemsConduct test drives to verify repairsRespond to field service calls as neededAssist with fabrication and equipment buildsMaintain accurate repair records and shop organizationFollow all safety and compliance standardsPerform other duties as assigned
QualificationsEducation:
High School Diploma or equivalent requiredTechnical training in Diesel Mechanics preferred
Experience & Requirements:
Valid driver's license with 5 years of a clean driving recordClass B CDL preferredMinimum 5 years of diesel repair experienceStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsWelding/fabrication experience requiredExperience working on sweepers, catch basin trucks, tractors, and heavy equipmentAbility to travel and work overtime as neededMust have your own tools
