Certification Passenger Endorsement Electrical experience Air Brake Endorsement Motor Vehicle Inspection License Full Job Description Berks Regional Transportation Authority (BARTA) is currently accepting applications for a
FULL-TIME TECH II DIESEL MECHANIC.
Cummins engine and strong electrical experience a plus. Must have own tools. Class "B" CDL required with air brake and passenger endorsements, 609 A/C certification, plus a valid state inspection license Class 3. This is a safety sensitive function for the Authority subject to DOT drug testing requirements. This position may require working nights and weekends. BARTA provides uniforms, a tool allowance of $525 per year, as well as an excellent starting salary with shift differential, pension and medical benefits with low employee contribution. Starting hourly rate is $28.94.
