Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Service Technician to join our team. This role involves, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel trucks, and trailers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel repair, with the ability to work efficiently upon instruction. Experience with fleet repair setting is a plus. Responsibilities Perform repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, and HVAC components. Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, brake repairs as well as other generalized maintenance. Maintain detailed service records and document all repairs performed. Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs and solutions effectively. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brakes, suspension systems, HVAC systems, and electrical components. Skilled in tire service and wheel alignment procedures a plus Knowledge of techniques for electrical repairs. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with customer service orientation. Physical ability for heavy lifting and working in various environmental conditions. This position requires a dedicated professional with a comprehensive understanding of diesel engine repair maintenance to ensure operational excellence across our fleet of truck and trailers.
