Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and Equipment. Your expertise in HVAC, air brakes, equipment repair, hydraulics, brake repair, and diesel engine repair will be essential in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet.
Duties:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, Heavy Equipment routine maintenance, and Repairs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with diesel engines and vehicles
  • Repair or replace faulty components, including electrical systems, fuel systems, and exhaust systems
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose issues
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a vocational or technical program in diesel mechanics is preferred
  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of diesel engines and vehicle systems
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, air brakes, hydraulics, brake systems, and other related components
  • Experience working with Heavy machinery
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals We offer competitive pay based on experience.
