As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. Your expertise in mechanical knowledge and experience with power tools will be essential in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet. Pay is based on experience. ```Duties```

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and other components
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Repair or replace faulty parts and components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity of vehicles and equipment
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete repairs and installations
• Align wheels, adjust brakes, and perform other necessary adjustments.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records. ```Skills``` To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
• Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in diesel engines and related systems
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for repairs and installations
• Experience working with tractor-trailers or similar heavy-duty vehicles
• Knowledge of brake repair procedures and techniques
• Familiarity with industrial equipment operation, such as backhoes and loaders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate repairs and maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills
• Class A CDL preferred
• Spanish speaking preferred
