Job Description

Continental Express Inc., is currently seeking a skilled Diesel Technician for

DAY SHIFT

to perform maintenance and repairs on semi tractors and trailers. Our current fleet of trucks consists of Freightliner tractors with Detroit engines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems on trucks and make necessary repairs Perform preventative maintenance on equipment Willingness to do road side repair on company equipment as necessary Complete necessary paperwork on equipment and work performed Maintain clean and safe work environment Ensure completed work meets federal and state codes/regulations Work collaboratively with Operations team when coordinating repairs or service work Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have own basic tools Pay to be determined by experience and qualifications. CDL and experience with refrigeration systems are a plus. Experience with Freightliners and Detroit engines are a plus. Ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting and repairing after-treatment and electrical systems. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. We offer a competitive pay rate based on experience.
