Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Entry Level - Diesel Service Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing heavy-duty diesel equipment across various industries. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, service, and repair diesel engines and related machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will keep our fleet running smoothly, supporting construction, agriculture, transportation, and industrial operations. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and other heavy equipment components using schematics and electronic testing tools Conduct repairs and maintenance on farm machinery, industrial equipment, excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers to ensure safety and operational efficiency Fabricate parts or modify existing components using power tools, welding techniques, soldering, and hand tools to meet specific repair needs Troubleshoot electrical systems including automotive diagnostics, HVAC systems, air brakes, shocks & struts, and electrical wiring diagrams Conduct tire service, wheel alignments, brake repairs, shocks & struts replacements, and general vehicle maintenance to keep equipment in top condition Assemble new equipment or repair existing units by following detailed schematics and technical manuals Support heavy lifting tasks safely while performing repairs or installations involving large machinery or components Skills Proven dealership or heavy equipment service technician experience with a strong mechanical background Skilled in fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering; experienced with power tools and hand tools for precise repairs Knowledgeable in diagnosing issues with diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brakes, suspension systems, HVAC units, and electrical systems Familiar with operating heavy machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and farm machinery Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical manuals for complex repairs Excellent customer service skills combined with clear communication to explain repairs and maintenance procedures Physically capable of performing heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining high standards of quality in all work performed Join us to leverage your mechanical expertise in a fast-paced environment where your skills directly impact operational success.
