Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet, which includes heavy machinery and welding equipment. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in diesel engines and related components. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of diesel-powered equipment, including air brake systems and hydraulic lifts. Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency. Utilize welding skills for repairs on metal components as needed. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory. Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and enhance overall equipment performance. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in diesel technology to enhance skills and knowledge. Qualifications Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues effectively. Familiarity with construction machinery and welding equipment/ welding machines is preferred Experience with electrical systems related to diesel engines is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
