Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently. This role requires hands-on experience with various types of diesel equipment and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Must have own tools. Monday through Friday 45 hours a week. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems. Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify mechanical issues. Execute brake repairs and ensure proper functioning of braking systems. Operate heavy equipment, including cranes, for testing and repairs. Fabricate parts as needed to support repair processes. Utilize power tools and diagnostic equipment effectively. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of diesel and automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, and equipment repair. Familiarity with all engines is a plus. Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and effectively. Proficient in using power tools and hand tools related to mechanical work. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. A valid driver's license may be required for this position.
