Diesel Mechanic (Trucks/Heavy Machinery)

Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or installations
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
• Fabricate or modify parts as needed

Experience:

• Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders
