Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Service Technician to join our team in West Columbia , SC. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment, including trucks, construction machinery, and industrial vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess extensive mechanical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to quality service.

Pay :
$30-$35 (DOE) Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brake systems, and suspension components using OEM schematics and electronic diagnostic tools. Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators and cranes Fabricate parts or modify existing components as needed to ensure optimal equipment performance. Repair and service powertrain systems including transmissions and drive axles. Execute tire services, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and suspension adjustments to maintain safety standards. Interpret technical schematics and OEM manuals to accurately diagnose issues. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring timely completion of work. Maintain detailed service records and adhere to safety protocols at all times. Other duties as assigned Qualifications 5+ years of proven diesel mechanic experience Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical manuals effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail in diagnostics and repairs. Physical ability for heavy lifting and performing manual tasks in diverse environments.
