Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Light Diesel and Automotive Technician, where your mechanical expertise and passion for vehicle repair will drive excellence! In this role, you'll be at the forefront of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, including light diesel engines and passenger cars. Your skills will ensure our customers' vehicles operate safely and efficiently, while you gain valuable experience working with modern automotive systems. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on automotive electrical systems, powertrains, and transmissions to identify issues accurately. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles running smoothly. Repair and replace components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics to ensure precise workmanship. Execute complex repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and powertrain systems with attention to detail and safety standards. Perform wheel alignments and steering adjustments to optimize vehicle handling and safety. Read and interpret automotive schematics and diagnostic codes to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems effectively. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks, and communicate repair findings clearly to service advisor. Experience Proven dealership or service center experience as an automotive technician or mechanic. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and software for electrical systems, and engine troubleshooting. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures across various makes including foreign and domestic vehicles. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair machinery safely and efficiently. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, transaxles, powertrain components, and diesel engine repair techniques. Service technician experience with a focus on customer service excellence is highly valued. Familiarity with auto estimating processes and working knowledge of schematics for complex repairs is a plus. Embark on a career where your skills make a real impact! $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
