Diesel Mechanic

Job description: Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and be proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining various types of industrial equipment. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability and performance of our fleet, including vehicles and other machinery.

PAY WILL BE DETERMINED BASED ON EXPERIENCE.

Duties Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines and related systems. Conduct brake repairs and maintenance to ensure safety and compliance. Work with hydraulics to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems. Assemble and disassemble components as needed for repairs or replacements. Read and interpret schematics to understand complex systems. Maintain accurate records of service performed on vehicles and equipment. Collaborate with other service technicians to improve workflow and efficiency. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and regulations. May be asked to support service calls Skills Proficient in diesel engine repair with hands-on experience. Strong understanding of hydraulics and their applications in industrial equipment. Ability to transmit technical knowledge effectively to team members. Familiarity with brake repair processes and safety protocols. Competence in reading schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Experience as a service technician in automotive or heavy-duty repair settings. Capability to assemble various mechanical components accurately. Knowledge of tractor-trailer maintenance and repair practices.
