• and gas-powered equipment Repairing and maintaining tractors, trailers, and dollies Performing general maintenance procedures on tractor trailers, cars, trucks, and other motor vehicles Identifying and communicating workplace hazards while adhering to safety policies and procedures Performing diagnostics using a multimeter and computer software to determine any errors or faults Maintaining records on all Driving a full-size pickup truck and/or full-size flatbed truck as needed Ordering and maintaining parts Mechanics usually work in garages that are indoors.

Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments, power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, lathes, hammers, welding equipment, and jacks and hoists Safely operate equipment, standard and specialty tools, welders, hoists and other lifting devices, on a daily basis Troubleshooting equipment maintenance problems to properly diagnose components to determine method and extent of repair necessary Proven experience handling multiple projects and priorities while maintaining tight deadlines Welding associated with the above duties In outside weather conditions Near moving mechanical parts May be exposed to dusty, wet and/or humid conditions and vibration
