You will drive fleet reliability by performing complex diagnostics and precision repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components to ensure equipment performs at peak capacity. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on diverse utility equipment, including aerial cranes, diggers, and forestry machinery. Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical failures in truck chassis, diesel power plants, and sophisticated hydraulic circuits. Maximize fleet uptime by proactively identifying worn components and implementing high-quality repair solutions. Maintain meticulous digital service records to ensure accurate cost tracking and compliance with operational standards. Coordinate with management to streamline repair workflows, ensuring all service orders are documented and approved efficiently. Uphold a culture of safety by strictly adhering to industry-standard maintenance protocols and participating in regular safety training. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with medium/heavy-duty trucks or utility equipment. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, electrical, and drivetrain systems. Possession of a personal set of professional-grade mechanic tools. Valid driver's license and the physical capability to perform manual labor, including bending, kneeling, and lifting. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred Skills Completion of a Vocational Technical program or military-trained wheeled vehicle mechanic certification. Active Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Experience utilizing diagnostic software for modern diesel engine management.
