In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel-powered equipment and vehicles ranging from Heavy, Medium, and Light. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of machinery used across various industries, including construction, agriculture, and transportation. This position offers an exciting opportunity for Technician who thrive on hands-on work, and problem-solving. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, brakes (including air brake systems), and electrical components using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, alignment checks, shocks & struts Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently restore vehicles or equipment to optimal working conditions. Assist with assembly of new machinery or equipment repairs ensuring all safety standards are met. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair findings clearly and offering maintenance advice to clients or team members. Qualifications Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic with strong background in automotive repair is essential. Extensive knowledge of heavy equipment operation. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for complex machinery diagnostics and repairs. Skilled in fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering; capable of working with various hand tools and power tools safely. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs or maintenance tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge across vehicle maintenance including transmissions, suspension systems, HVAC systems, tire service, brakes (including air brake systems), shocks & struts. Excellent electrical experience with automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting electrical issues on heavy machinery. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards.
