Diesel Mechanic Envirohauling Haltom City, TX Job Details Full-time $27 - $33 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Qualifications ASE Certification Vehicle mechanics for truck drivers Diesel mechanics CDL DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Full Job Description We are hiring a Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair diesel trucks and equipment. Duties include preventative maintenance, diagnostics, brake repair, suspension work, electrical troubleshooting, hydraulic repairs, and DOT inspections. Candidates should have diesel repair experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently. CDL and ASE certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities:
Perform PM services and inspections Diagnose and repair diesel engines and truck systems Repair brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, and hydraulic systems Maintain service records Ensure vehicles remain safe and DOT-compliant Report issues to fleet manager Maintain detailed logs of purchases, receipts, and WO completion records Prioritize repairs needed
Requirements:
Diesel mechanic experience preferred Valid driver's license Ability to lift, bend, and work in a shop environment Diagnostic and problem-solving skills May require weekend work, nighttime call outs, overtime
