Job Description

Diesel Mechanic Keep Equipment Running. Build a Career You Can Count On. We're seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team. If you have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered equipment, this is an opportunity to put your expertise to work with a company that values safety, quality, and professional growth. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical components. Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on trucks, heavy equipment, trailers, or fleet vehicles. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify effective repair solutions. Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Document inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and company procedures. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area. Collaborate with team members to minimize equipment downtime. What We're Looking For 2 to 7+ years of experience repairing and maintaining diesel engines. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Experience with preventative maintenance programs. Knowledge of diesel engine systems, hydraulics, brakes, electrical systems, and drivetrains. Ability to read and interpret service manuals and repair documentation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Dependable work ethic and ability to work independently. Preferred Qualifications Technical school or vocational training in Diesel Technology. Experience working on medium-duty or heavy-duty trucks, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, or commercial fleets. CDL and/or ASE certifications are a plus but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and more with assistance when needed. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various weather conditions. Ability to safely operate shop equipment and tools.
