Longview Diesel and Performance has been a 10-year staple of East Texas and one of the largest and highest-recommended diesel repair and performance shops in America. As a Veteran Owned business, we take pride in our work, our people, and the exceptional service we deliver every day. We're looking for a motivated Assistant Technician to join our team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in the diesel industry. No prior experience is required — we will invest in your training and success. About the Role You will work directly under our experienced full-time technicians, assisting with everything needed to keep our shop running efficiently and our customers' diesel trucks performing at their best. Key Responsibilities Assist technicians with hands-on repair work and diagnostic tasks Perform shop cleaning and organization to maintain a safe, professional workspace Move vehicles around the shop and perform test drives when needed Help with parts retrieval and tool organization Learn diesel systems, troubleshooting, and repair procedures through on-the-job training Support the team in any capacity required to complete jobs efficiently Tools are NOT required for this position.
