Full Job Description Summary of Position:

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Complies with all Citibus policies and expectations and models Citibus values of Respect, Accountability, Trust and Professionalism in all aspects of job performance. 2. Make minor repairs and tune-ups without assistance. 3. Provide assistance to Class A and Class B Mechanics in repair and replacement of parts. 4. Ability to repair minor electrical, mechanical, and air conditioning components with some supervision and technical assistance. 5. Troubleshoot all electrical and mechanical and preventative maintenance programs. 6. Complete all levels of preventative maintenance to include oil changes or lubrication and conduct inspections on all classes of vehicles operated by Citibus to ensure that the vehicle is in a serviceable and safe condition. 7. Assist Class A and Class B Mechanics on road calls. 8. Repair tires and tubes with lift capacity of minimum 150 lbs. 9. Service vehicles. 10. Brake repairs. 11. Performs routine preventative vehicle maintenance such as oil changes or lubrication on all vehicles and specialized equipment. 12. Learns service writing duties, including data input and upkeep of service logs. 13. Maximize efficient use of vehicle repair parts. 14. Assist other Class A or Class B Mechanics or the Shop Foreman or Director of Maintenance on projects as needed. 15. Uses welding equipment to make minor repairs or fabricate metal parts. 16. Troubleshoot all mechanical, electrical, and air conditioning systems. 17. Ensure safety policies are maintained. 18. Some outside working hours may be required for special events and training. Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED and six (6) months of automotive mechanical work experience. Preferred experience includes mechanical work with buses and heavy duty trucks. Must have at least one year of driving experience with a valid Texas driver's license and be willing and able to obtain a CDL after 90 days of employment.
