In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel-powered equipment and vehicles. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of machinery used across various industries, including construction, agriculture, and transportation. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, brakes, and electrical components using OEM schematics and automotive diagnostic tools Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, tire service, and air brake inspections to keep equipment operating smoothly Repair and replace faulty parts on heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and farm machinery Fabricate custom parts or modifications using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet specific operational needs Troubleshoot electrical systems and wiring harnesses on industrial equipment to ensure safety and compliance with OEM standards Conduct alignment procedures for vehicles and machinery to optimize performance and safety standards Assist in assembly or disassembly of complex machinery components during repairs or upgrades Maintain detailed service records and logs of all repairs performed for accountability and future reference Operate heavy equipment safely during repair or testing processes while adhering to safety protocols Qualifications Proven mechanic experience with a focus on diesel engines; dealership experience is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and farm machinery Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and power tools required for precise repairs Ability to perform welding, soldering, fabrication, and assembly tasks effectively Knowledge of OEM specifications for vehicle maintenance and repair procedures Familiarity with air brake systems, transmissions, HVAC systems in industrial equipment, tire service, suspension alignment, hydraulics, and electrical troubleshooting Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong customer service orientation Physical ability to lift heavy components safely during repairs; willingness to perform heavy lifting as needed Join us as a Diesel Mechanic if you're passionate about maintaining top-tier machinery through expert diagnostics and repairs.
