12-hour rotating day and night shifts
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Midland, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on diesel tractors, trailers, and heavy equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations. This position includes both shop work and road calls.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance on tractors, trailers, and heavy-duty equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot equipment using diagnostic software and tools. Complete inspections, repairs, and maintenance according to company standards. Respond to road calls and perform emergency repairs when needed. Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders. Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in diesel tractor and trailer maintenance. Experience working on Peterbilt tractors, cement pumps, bulk trailers, and Air Slide trailers is preferred. Familiarity with diagnostic software such as CAT ET, Cummins Insight, Davie, and Service Ranger is preferred. Strong troubleshooting skills involving diesel engines, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Oil & gas industry experience is a plus. Diesel Maintenance education or training is preferred. Must be able to work a 15 days on / 6 days off rotation with 12-hour rotating day and night shifts . Ability to work in both a shop environment and perform road service calls.

Pay:
