In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment including trucks and industrial machinery. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of our fleet and machinery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge diagnostic tools and advanced repair techniques in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines and heavy equipment using advanced electronic testing and schematics. Conduct repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, air brakes, HVAC systems, and other mechanical components. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and fabrication skills to complete repairs efficiently. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to identify root causes of issues accurately. Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all repairs performed. Assist with equipment assembly, maintenance schedules, and preventive inspections to ensure machinery operates at peak efficiency. Support customer service efforts by communicating repair findings clearly and providing recommendations for ongoing maintenance. Skills Proven experience with heavy equipment operation such as Cummins and Volvo engines. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive diagnostics and diesel engine repair processes. Skilled in fabrication techniques including welding and metalworking for custom repairs or modifications. Familiarity with schematics and electrical systems related to commercial vehicle equipment. Hands-on experience with tire service, alignment procedures, HVAC systems, hydraulics, suspension components, and brake systems. Ability to operate power tools safely while performing heavy lifting tasks as needed. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with customer service aptitude to deliver high-quality workmanship efficiently.
