In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel engines and equipment. Your expertise will ensure that our fleet and machinery operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse industrial and heavy equipment, including farm machinery, construction vehicles, and transportation trucks. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering top-tier service. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to perform diagnostics, repairs, and rebuilds on diesel engines, dewatering pumps, and generator systems. This position involves both shop and field work, offering variety and hands-on technical challenges. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and rebuild diesel engines used in automotive and industrial applications Perform service and repairs on pumps and generator sets Complete both in-shop and on-site (field) service work Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems Perform light fabrication (cutting, welding - if applicable) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentt Requirements Minimum 3 years of diesel engine repair experience Experience with engines such as Cummins, Kubota, Perkins, and/or Deutz preferred Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to safely use shop tools and diagnostic equipment Must have own tools and rolling tool chest Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Willingness to work overtime and travel for field service calls Ability to lift up to 100 lbs Basic computer skills for diagnostics and reporting Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-oriented mindset Must pass a pre-employment drug screen Preferred (Not Required) Light fabrication and welding experience Experience working with dewatering pumps and generator systems What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Stable, long-term opportunity with an established company Ongoing training and development opportunities Variety of work (shop + field service) #waco1
