Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled diesel mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems and a passion for troubleshooting and repairing various types of machinery and restoring tractors. Responsibilities Re-manufacture /restore tractors Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements and fluid checks Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues on tractors Perform tractor repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes and other components Fabricate or modify parts as needed Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance and inspections Other duties as assigned Experience Familiar with troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing tractors, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems Knowledge of diesel engines and components a must Proficient in using diagnostic tools, equipment and repair techniques for trouble shooting Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team Compensation based on experience
