We are not looking for entry‑level techs or automotive‑only mechanics. We want someone who understands diesel systems, can diagnose accurately, and can handle major repairs with skill and efficiency. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, drivetrains, and heavy‑duty systems Perform electrical troubleshooting and identify faults accurately Rebuild diesel engines and major components Recognize mechanical issues quickly and correctly Inspect vehicles and equipment, including air brakes, suspension, and DOT‑related systems Complete DOT inspections (preferred, not required) Perform welding and fabrication when needed Handle heavy lifting and equipment movement Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Document repairs thoroughly and professionally Requirements (Non‑Negotiable) Minimum 5 years of diesel mechanic experience Must have your own tools Strong diagnostic skills — mechanical and electrical Proven ability to rebuild diesel engines Experienced with light‑, medium‑, and heavy‑duty pickup trucks Able to work independently and stay productive Valid driver's license DOT inspection experience or certification preferred Ability to recognize issues immediately and communicate clearly Compensation Pay depends on experience and knowledge base Competitive pay for skilled diesel technicians What You Can Expect You'll work in a professional diesel shop that values skill, efficiency, and integrity.
