Well Equipped company provided truck as well as laptop and cell phone What you will bring to this role: 5+ years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial diesel & gas generators and power generation systems Load bank Certification Strong understanding / EGSA certifications on medium voltage and paralleling packages
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work in a safe, reliable, professional, clean, organized, and documented manner. Take direction well, work with the team, speak up and help find efficient and effective ways to grow the business. Perform technical skill including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting and repair of generators Provide emergency and/or unscheduled repairs of generators both during normal business hours and after-hours, weekends, and holidays as directed Perform scheduled preventative maintenance service and/or repairs of generators Read and interpret operational manuals, electrical schematics, universal generator literature and work orders to perform required maintenance and/or repairs Perform basic mathematical calculations Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties Detect faulty operations, defective material and report them and any other unusual situations to the service manager in a timely manner Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly shop work areas, company vehicles, and job site work areas Use welding tools, winch, pulley, hoist and/or pallet jack Tow a trailer, portable generator, or load bank using company vehicle About the
