Job Description

Lead Marine Diesel Technician:
Join the A-Team of Yacht Mechanics Are you a seasoned diesel technician who wants to work on some of the coolest boats on the water? At Advanced Marine Diesel , we're looking for a Lead Marine Diesel Technician to join our crew. This isn't your average mechanic job—you'll be working on luxury yachts with high-end engines from MAN, Scania and Yanmar . If you've got at least two years of experience as a diesel technician and are ready for a challenging but rewarding role, you might be the perfect fit.
What You'll Be Doing:
Become the expert: You'll be the go-to person for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing in-board marine diesel engines.
Keep the engines humming:
From routine maintenance to emergency fixes, you'll be performing adjustments and overhauls on a range of systems.
Get your hands dirty:
You'll use your skills to work on everything from transmissions and hydraulics to the engines themselves. This means you should be comfortable in tight spaces, lifting up to 50 pounds, and using both power and specialty tools.
Adventure awaits:
Get ready to travel up to 50% of the time for on-site jobs.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
A minimum of two years of experience as a diesel technician is required. Bonus points if you have specific experience with MAN common rail and Scania engines.
The right attitude:
We need someone who is motivated, takes pride in their work, and can be a great team player. Good customer skills are a must!
Clean record:
You need a valid driver's license and an excellent driving record.
Location:
You must live in the greater Tidewater area or be willing to relocate.

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour , based on experience.
